December In Review 2016 + LA Birthday Adventure

Hey hey! The December 2016 in review is petite, as most of what was photographed were adventures :) So the only review photo I have for you friends today is this fun little one:

Yessiree bob! OMG who even says that anymore? Ok, anyway, here's the Fall Adventures showcase #2! This one features a couple LA adventures with a few of my favorite people. The absolute artistic showcasing perfection that is The Broad is featured, as well as my 29th bday with a couple of the squad up at Angel City Brewing! I had never been before; it's a super cozy venue. :) Song: I did a remix-sorta of Breezeblocks by Alt-J... trippy, ya?

True story, so Arts District Brewing is amazing and commented on my photo on instagram--so, I learned the Pegasus's name is Sassy. <3

December Styled Shoot - Mini Session with Tara + Kat || Thousand Oaks, CA

Back in December, a few of my photographer friends and I met up in Thousand Oaks for a mini- styled shoot session... But instead of shooting models, we photographed each other! It's always great (aka terrifying) getting in front of the lens, but it really helps us to understand the feels our non-model clients are going through during our sessions. Anyway, here's my adventure vid, images I took, and some selects from the amazing Tara (IG: belleandepic) and Kat: (IG: sweeterchord).

So! Tara, Kat, and I spent a (very chilly) day hiking around in Thousand Oaks (I will NEVER bring so much stuff with me ever againnnn hahaha) and here's the video/shots to prove it! I also threw in some faves from both Tara and Kat at the end. I think it's super important for photographers to be photographed by other photographers--it gives you a glimpse into the probable terror your clients feel at sessions until you get them properly warmed up ;)

November Styled Shoot - Agoura Hills, CA

OH. EM. GEE. These women were straight fire! Yessss. I had a blast on this absolutely perfect November day. The light, the warmth, the scene, the people in front of and behind the scenes... Such a much-needed kind of day. This was the first shoot where I really got to bust out the Fuji xt2 out to play! You'll see a mix of the Nikon D810 and the lil' Fuji baby.
