November 2019 iPhone in Review

November was another one of those months, wasn’t easy to get through but I did manage to fill it with lots of fun, friends, and adventures. From Halloween/Dia de los Muertos weekend parties, to flying up to Portland (!!!) AND staying in the Airbnb in that one Portlandia episode (LOL but the family is adorable and amazing TBH) , I think I did alright that month ;)

Portland 2019

November was full of adventure! I flew up to Portland for my first visit up yonder to check out the city and do a few photoshoots. I had a full day to explore, so I scoped out downtown and the zoo :) It was raining (I hear that’s normal, LOL) but lucked out with a beautiful sunny day at Cannon Beach! Had a blast flying the drone, but had less of a blast flying back on a 6 am flight straaaaight back to… work. haha play hard, work harder.

SLAVES || Live Music at 1720 Warehouse

YAAAAAS! This was my first foray back into music photography in YEARS. The venue is very dark, and for the first few acts, I didn’t have access to the pit yet so I had to make do with where I was standing, but I just took it as an opportunity to HAVE FUN and play around and re-acclimate myself to this kind of thing. I brought all kinds of lens toys and tried to incorporate new ideas for each band as I got used to the lighting and all that. Overall, I really miss this world, and hope I get to come back to it sometime soon (post-quarantine, of course… as of time of writing this blog -___-). So this band was amaaaazing! And I found out later that the lead singer was one of my all-time fave The Voice contestants :) They did such a badass job that night!
