Undead Redemption || A Goth Cowgirl in Joshua Tree || Destinee

Soooo! A couple of my friends, Max and Sam Baker, set up a dope concept shoot based off of the Red Dead Redemption game they were hooked on last summer (otherwise, it would have been my Animal Crossing obsession themed, and that wouldn’t have been nearly as cool LOL!!!). We teamed up with Destinee to model and rock her hair and makeup skills, and Soundsnap Boudoir came through with the super radical location over at the Thunderbird Lodge in Joshua Tree!!!

Destinee is never one to disappoint at sessions—she’s an amazingly hard worker, is so so sweet, and is hella talented. As of copywriting time, I get to see her again in just a few days.Yay! Check her outtttt!

Trisha || Sunny Backyard Lifestyle Session

I spent a fun little afternoon last summer photographing the adorable Trisha in her native habitat! Okay, her parent’s house LOL but we had beautiful weather and lighting for this little poolside session ❤️ It was a perfect way to keep creative, safely, while COVID raged all around us. HMPF! As I copy write this in January of the following year…. are we done yet??

Meagan + Martin || Orange County Historic Courthouse Elopement

When one of my best girlfriends asked if I could photograph her and her love’s elopement, OF COURSE I SAID YES!! Haha it’s my secret goal to photograph all my girls’ wedding days or at the very minimum their engagement sessions 0:) three down, three to go (for the local babes at least). I even get to photograph my childhood best friend’s wedding in a few short months!

Meagan and Martin got married in true COVID-19 fashion at the OC Historic Courthouse. We were expecting something totally different than what they had set up at the office (LOL!!) but we went with it as best we could, and spent an hour taking some photos around the beautiful building before they were off to enjoy their first few hours together as partners!

I’m truly enjoying these more intimate weddings I’ve been photographing as a cause of the ongoing pandemic. While it’s nice to have 200+ of your friends and family around on your wedding day, from experience I can tell how stressful it is for the couple to be able to spend any truly meaningful moments with them. IMHO—these dainty weddings are the way to go!!
