Rock and Roll Desert Party || Vasquez Rocks, CA || September 2018

Last fall, I gathered a handful of my rock-n-rollest amigos to do a fun little styled shoot in the desert! We explored Vasquez Rocks out in Santa Clarita. We had lots of fun :)

I had an amazing afternoon out in Vasquez Rocks with a handful of my modelrific friends! I set up my first styled shoot - a rock and roll party in the desert fashion photoshoot, and it was a blast. Although I forgot to keep taking video throughout the day, I managed to make some beautiful portraits of them all too.

This was the only song we ever got finaled and posted to Spotify. Matthew said it was written about me, and he showed it to me just before he left for Australia for a few months. In total, we made about 5 or 6 finished songs and had about 5 more in the oven from the past 6-ish years of our relationship, but I guess those will melt into the ether along with everything we ever built. shrugs

It was all fun while it lasted. I’m looking forward to working with new people and forming new musical connections soon—getting that ball rolling this summer! :)
