June 2017 was muy precious! Here's the blog/diary post for a little break from the work stuff. Had a few good little adventures, but most notably a quick trip out to Santa Monica for my friend Zoe's birthday, AAAAND! A momma hummingbird made a nest on my patio! Now that I'm finally typing this blog post (June 2018 LOL) I just watched 2 babies fly out the nest, so it's nice to see her continue to use it so I can peep the sweet little cuties <3. This succulent in the yard has never bloomed as far as I'm aware over the last 20+ years, then suddenly, magic!!

This was my neighbor's sweet kitty--we had frequent "conversations". You wouldn't understand our language... hahaha <3 Unfortunately, she left us after about 18 or 19 years of being a feisty little puff, shortly after these photos were taken :'(

Speaking of feisty old things that passed away soon after photos were taken... My sweet baby Julius left us for the big freeway in the sky, shortly after his 100,000th mile.
